Sean brings an enthusiastic and collaborative approach to therapy that balances well with his gentle nature and humbleness. He enjoys working with youth and young adults and is trained in a range of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Trauma, and Satir Therapy.

Sean has helped people overcome their struggles with a range of issues including:

Depression

Anxiety

Trauma and PTSD

Chronic health issues

Substance use issues

Grief

Life transitions

Identity issues

Relationship issues

He also helps people improve in the areas of:

Peer Relations

Assertiveness 

A message from Sean:

I found my way to being a therapist after five years of mentoring youth and young adults in the wilderness, building trails in remote locations. This experience inspired me to make counseling my career. 

I recognize that you are the expert of your own life. Together we will work on developing and amplifying your personal values, the actions you take in service to those values, and your ability to live your best life alongside whatever unpleasant feelings and hard truths that may be present.

 

We will collaboratively create a healthy space for healing and growth. I truly believe in everyone’s ability to reach their potential within whatever circumstances they may find themselves in. I would be honored for the chance to help get you pointed and moving in your desired direction.
